Most Senators have changed their websites to no longer accept email. Instead email must be entered via a web form. Below is the information for both New York Senators, a link to the Senate directory is included as well.
We encourage you to send separate e-mails to both the
President
and Vice President since both men are subject to different pressures and
agendas. In addition we suggest you send copies of the President's letter
to some
of the
other officials listed above by putting their addresses in the "Copy to"
box of the e-mail you send to the President. It doesn't take that much
more time, and it gives your e-mail more exposure. If
you place the government e-mail addresses into your personal e-mail
address
book, it is only a matter of a few clicks of your mouse.
For every e-mail you send to the White House in support of Israel, you
get an
automated e-mail response from the White House. The number and quality of
messages received in support of Israel, is probably evaluated by the White
House on a regular basis. If the number of strong pro-Israel messages
increases each week, that could have a positive impact on this
administration's Middle East policy.
For those who feel that snail mail has additional impact, please feel free
to click on the printer icon to print out the e-mail message, which can
then be sent by conventional mail to the White House. The snail mail
address for the White House is: We urge you to be persistent and to send your pro-Israel messages to
the White House each week. We also ask you to encourage your friends and
neighbors to join you in this program. Word of mouth is the most
effective advertising, and in the end, much of what we want to accomplish
depends on our numbers. If enough people participate in our efforts, and
don't give up, then the White House and our elected political leadership
will respond. That's the way democracy works.
